Tinubu’s 2027 Re-election Support surges as SERHA pledges ₦200m for nomination form, launches grassroots campaign in South-East to boost Tinubu’s second term bid
Tinubu’s 2027 re-election support gained major momentum over the weekend as the South East Renewed Hope Agenda (SERHA) pledged ₦200 million toward the purchase of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s presidential nomination form and campaign logistics.

The announcement was made during the inauguration of SERHA’s Imo State chapter, a gathering attended by political leaders, stakeholders, and community members from across the region.
Speaking at the event, Hon. Belusochukwu Enwere, National Coordinator of SERHA, declared the group’s unwavering support for Tinubu’s re-election bid.
“As ambassadors of Renewed Hope, we present a cheque of ₦200 million for the nomination form and associated campaign logistics,” he stated.
Enwere praised President Tinubu’s achievements in infrastructure, education, and inclusive governance, emphasizing their positive impact on the South-East.
He spotlighted the newly approved $3 billion Eastern Rail Line project, describing it as the largest federal infrastructure investment in the region’s history.
The railway is expected to boost trade, lower transportation costs, and address long-held concerns of marginalisation.
He also applauded the creation of the South East Development Commission (SEDC), which he said would play a vital role in regional development, including roadworks and erosion control.
“These initiatives show that the federal government is committed to the growth of our region,” Enwere added.
The event also paid tribute to iconic South-East figures like Chief Sam Mbakwe and Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, and praised Governor Hope Uzodinma for his achievements under the 3R Agenda.
To solidify Tinubu’s 2027 Re-election Support, SERHA announced a grassroots mobilisation tour across all 95 LGAs and 2,344 wards in the South-East, starting in August.
“This is the South’s time to complete our eight years. The South-East will not back down in ensuring Tinubu’s victory in 2027,” Enwere declared.

The event also featured the distribution of empowerment items—motorcycles, mini buses, sewing machines, hairdressing kits, and cash—to support economic self-reliance and uplift communities in the region.
