Speaking at a reception held by the Shehu Buba Vanguard on Wednesday, Muhammad expressed confidence in APC’s prospects.
Muhammad blamed PDP’s weakness on the absence of a credible candidate to match APC’s contenders.
“The PDP lacks direction in terms of having a credible candidate that will match our candidates,” he said.
He stressed the importance of unity within the APC and praised the party’s strong candidate, familiar with Bauchi’s political terrain.
Muhammad, newly appointed media aide to Senator Shehu Buba Umar of Bauchi South, outlined a strategic media plan to promote the APC candidate and ensure a cohesive campaign.
At the event, Shehu Buba Vanguard director general Ishaq Dabo highlighted the reception as a celebration of Muhammad’s appointment.
He also revealed Senator Shehu Buba’s governorship ambitions for 2027, describing him as the ideal candidate.
Dabo praised the senator’s impactful track record, noting his efforts in youth empowerment, infrastructure development, and job creation.
“He has renovated schools, healthcare facilities, and facilitated the construction of a tiled road – a first in Bauchi State,” Dabo said.
