APC Lagos Confirms 2026 State Congress on March 3

APC Lagos 2026 State Congress set for March 3 at Mobolaji Johnson Stadium; delegates must present membership cards and accreditation tags

The All Progressives Congress (APC), Lagos State chapter, has announced that its 2026 State Congress will hold on Tuesday, March 3, at the Mobolaji Johnson Stadium, formerly Onikan Stadium, Lagos Island, by 10 a.m.

The notice, issued on Monday by the Chairman of the Lagos State Congress Committee, stated that the congress is being convened pursuant to Article 12.8 of the party’s constitution.

Qualified attendees include members of the State Advisory Council, the State Chairman and Executive Committee, the State Governor and Deputy Governor, as well as serving and former members of the National Assembly from Lagos who belong to the party.

Other participants are members of the National Executive Committee from the state, serving and past State House of Assembly members, elected Local Government Chairmen and Deputies, and councillors from all 245 wards who are APC members.

The party further listed chairmen and secretaries of all Local Government Areas, five delegates per ward elected during the Ward Congress, and members of the Zonal Executive Committee as eligible to attend.

“All delegates are required to present their valid party membership cards and official accreditation tags for entry,” the statement added.

The congress is expected to set the stage for key decisions affecting party structures and leadership within Lagos State.
