One of the top politicians to ever come out of the South Western Nigeria is Babatunde Raji Fashola.
He is a highly respected Nigerian lawyer and politician.
He served two terms as the Governor of Lagos State from 2007 to 2015, succeeding Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
During his tenure as governor, he was lauded for significant achievements in infrastructure development, environmental regeneration, and public security, notably transforming Lagos into a more modern megacity.
Following his governorship, he served as the Minister of Power, Works, and Housing from 2015 to 2019, and later as the Minister of Works and Housing from 2019 to 2023, under President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.
