Jigawa Governor Umar Namadi urges residents to register for APC and collect PVCs ahead of the 2027 elections, citing the party’s achievements
Jigawa State Governor, Malam Umar Namadi, has called on residents to take full advantage of the ongoing All Progressives Congress (APC) membership registration ahead of the 2027 general election.

In a statement signed by his Senior Special Assistant on Media, Hajiya Zainab Shu’aibu Rabo, Governor Namadi described the Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC) as a critical instrument enabling citizens to determine their political future, noting that the registration exercise remains open and accessible.
“I also encourage eligible citizens to take advantage of the ongoing Continuous Permanent Voter’s Card registration to enable them participate actively in the democratic process ahead of the 2027 general elections,” the statement said.
Governor Namadi urged residents to formally register as APC members, collect their PVCs, and position themselves to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the forthcoming elections, highlighting the President’s achievements.
He also emphasised that the APC remains the dominant political party in Jigawa State and nationwide, citing its performance and impact on citizens’ lives.

Reports indicate that Jigawa State is among those with the highest number of collected PVCs in the country, underscoring active civic engagement ahead of the next general election.
