The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has released the list of its Electoral Committee members ahead of its nationwide primary elections for various political offices across the country.

The NDC electoral committee list release was confirmed in a statement posted on the party’s verified X handle on Thursday, outlining preparations for its upcoming primaries.
The exercise will cover State House of Assembly, House of Representatives, Senate, Governorship and Presidential primaries across all states in Nigeria and the Federal Capital Territory.
According to the statement, the party has been actively updating stakeholders on arrangements for the forthcoming internal elections.
Party officials said the primaries are scheduled to hold on May 29, 2026, across the country, in line with the previously announced timetable of May 28 and 29.
The statement was signed by the National Chairman, Moses Cleopas, alongside the National Secretary, Barr. Ikenna Alex-Morgan Enekweizu.
The party leadership added that the exercise is part of efforts to ensure structured internal democracy and transparent candidate selection ahead of the general elections.
The development signals increased political activity within the NDC as parties continue to prepare for the 2026/2027 election cycle.
