Lauretta Onochie criticizes APC national convention process, alleging irregularities and saying Tinubu “destroys everything he touches”
Former aide to late President Muhammadu Buhari, Lauretta Onochie, has criticized the All Progressives Congress (APC) over its handling of preparations for its national convention.
The Lauretta Onochie Tinubu destroys APC convention claim was made in a post on her verified social media account, where she accused the ruling party of irregularities in its internal processes.

Onochie alleged that APC aspirants paid large sums of money for nomination forms but were not given the forms they paid for.
She further claimed that some candidates had already been pre-selected despite the ongoing sale of forms, describing the situation as undemocratic and fraudulent.
According to her, the internal operations of the APC do not reflect democratic principles, adding that the party’s processes raise serious concerns about fairness and transparency.
She also made a strong personal criticism of President Bola Tinubu, stating that “whatever Tinubu touches, he destroys.”
The allegations come as the APC continues preparations for its national convention, where aspirants are being screened for various leadership positions.
