Sen. Husain Blasts Opposition: Disjointed Coalition no Threat to Tinubu

Opposition Coalition faces sharp rebuke from Senator Husain, who slams it as a desperate, self-serving alliance unfit to challenge Tinubu’s reform-driven leadership

Opposition Coalition has come under scathing fire from prominent Osun APC gubernatorial hopeful, Senator Mudashiru Husain, who denounced the alliance as a “ragtag formation” of political opportunists and disgraced leaders fueled by selfish ambitions.

In a hard-hitting statement released on Saturday, Senator Husain accused the coalition of lacking ideology, conviction, and direction.

He described their activities as desperate theatrics orchestrated to regain relevance rather than present solutions.

“This coalition is a sinking ship with holes below the waterline,” Husain declared, calling it an “amalgam stitched together with thread of bitterness and ambition.”

He insisted that President Tinubu’s accomplishments ranging from fuel subsidy removal, forex unification, infrastructure projects, to student-focused welfare represent a bold departure from past failures.

According to him, the Opposition Coalition cannot threaten Tinubu’s reelection given the President’s reform-driven governance.

Husain further criticized former leaders in the coalition for their unpatriotic records, accusing them of parading themselves as reformers despite a history of betrayal and political flip-flopping.

The senator concluded with confidence that Nigerians will not be deceived again, asserting that real change is already underway and the opposition offers no credible alternative.
