The event, organised by the APC Youths in collaboration with the City Boy Movement, saw youth leaders, party faithful, and grassroots mobilisers gather to hear Oyebamiji detail how young people would be placed at the centre of governance and development.

Addressing the audience, the former Managing Director of the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA) emphasised that youths would not merely serve as campaign foot soldiers but would have active roles and decision-making powers in his administration.

Oyebamiji presented a comprehensive strategy to tackle youth unemployment, including deliberate investments in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), expanded skill acquisition programmes, access to low-interest loans, and targeted support for artisans and informal sector operators.

He also outlined plans to attract foreign direct investments into Osun State to drive industrialisation, creating both direct and indirect employment opportunities.

The APC candidate highlighted structured training in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to equip youths with globally competitive skills for the digital economy.

The gubernatorial candidate reaffirmed that his youth empowerment agenda would be intentional, inclusive, and sustainable, aligning with the APC’s broader progressive ideals and the national Renewed Hope philosophy.

The declaration was met with resounding applause and chants, as youths pledged their support, mobilisation, and commitment to the AMBO project.
