Faruk made the statement on Friday while addressing party leaders and supporters, who had gathered to welcome 2027 State House of Assembly aspirant Ishaku Madaki to the party secretariat.
“No one individual can kill the PDP because it is far above such a person. The PDP has remained the only formidable political party in Nigeria since 1998,” Faruk said, emphasising the party’s resilience despite past challenges.
He highlighted that the PDP remains the dominant political force in Bogoro, with the largest membership and loyal support base.
“Even when we were out of power, we stayed, and since 2019, our commitment has never wavered,” he added.
Faruk expressed confidence in the party’s prospects for the 2027 general elections, asserting that the PDP would field candidates at local, state, and federal levels and emerge victorious.
He encouraged aspirants to express their interests openly, promising a fair and transparent selection process.
The chairman also cautioned against bitterness and political thuggery, warning that any aspirant engaging in such conduct would not receive the party’s backing.
“Everything has its time, and opportunity can come to anyone at the appropriate moment. We must work together to elect the best candidates for the good of Bogoro,” Faruk said.
