The Chairman of the PDP National Convention Organising Committee, Governor Fintiri of Adamawa State, emphasised that every effort and sacrifice is being made to guarantee success.
“We are fully committed and will not leave any stone unturned,” Fintiri stated. “We are putting in our best and making sacrifices for us to have a successful convention and battle.”
Highlighting his dedication, Fintiri added, “Apart from Islam, PDP is next to any association that I believe has given me everything I have achieved in life. I will forever remain grateful to this party.”

He reassured members that under their leadership, the party would not be let down. “With the calibre of men and women we will produce as leaders, the country will know the PDP is still alive.”
Fintiri also vowed to ensure transparency in the screening process, promising to prevent any misconduct.
“Everyone who purchased forms and meets the requirements will be screened. Go and test your popularity in the field. It’s a true democracy.”
The PDP chairman also assured that the list of delegates would be made public in due course, just like the subcommittee names.
Chairman of the Protocol Sub-Committee, Mutfwang, echoed this optimism, stressing the high level of commitment towards the convention.
“Today’s meeting shows that the PDP is alive and taking the convention seriously,” Mutfwang said.
“Those who started the PDP would not want it to die on our watch. We have a responsibility to keep the platform alive for Nigerians.”
He further noted the importance of their work to ensure the event runs smoothly, adding, “If you see a well-organised meeting with ease and flow, it’s because the protocol was well handled. Our job is cut out for us.”
