Agada said he was waiting for either or both opposition figures to reach out to him, provided they were willing to support his plans for Nigeria.
The YPP candidate disclosed this on Wednesday while speaking on Arise Television’s Morning Show, where he also discussed his electoral ambitions and efforts to build support ahead of the election.
Asked about the number of votes he expects to secure in the 2027 presidential election, Agada said his campaign was targeting between two million and 10 million votes.
“We are looking at between two and 10 million Nigerians. We are still working. I said two million because that’s where we are right now and increasing pretty fast,” he said.
Agada said he had spent the 60 days since emerging as the YPP presidential candidate building his political structure through grassroots mobilisation, presentations and consultations.
He also claimed that a significant portion of supporters associated with the Obedient Movement who had not moved to other political platforms were backing his presidential bid.
“Over 40% of Obedients that did not move away are with me, and several other parties,” he said.
According to Agada, his political project is not restricted to party structures but is focused on bringing Nigerians from different political backgrounds together.
“It’s not about parties. It’s not about which party you belong to,” he said.
Speaking about the possibility of working with Obi and Atiku, Agada said he would welcome an alliance if their political objectives aligned with his plans for the country.
“We are waiting a call by any one of them, Peter Obi and Atiku Abubakar, or every of them to come, provided it falls along with what we want to implement for Nigeria,” he said.
“We’re going to work with anyone who aligns with this,” he added.
Agada’s comments come amid continued discussions among opposition politicians and parties over possible alliances and realignments ahead of the 2027 general election.

The emerging political alignments could shape the opposition’s strategy as parties and presidential contenders seek to consolidate support ahead of the election.
