Speaking on Arise TV’s Prime Time on Monday, Abdullahi confirmed that Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, is actively part of the ADC-led coalition, pushing back against speculations that the PDP is trying to woo him back.
“Let me say clearly, Peter Obi is in the coalition,” Abdullahi stated firmly. He added that Obi, more than anyone, understands the political risks of returning to the PDP, given its current perceived weaknesses.
“It is good to see that the ADC’s entry into the field has stirred PDP into action.
But everyone knows the jugular of the PDP is in the hands of the ruling party,” Abdullahi said, signaling a shift in political momentum.
