The endorsement came during a meeting with political appointees held at the Nasarawa State Government House, where Governor Sule openly declared support for the senator’s ambition.
Sule backs Wadada APC governorship as political alignments begin to intensify across the state ahead of the next election cycle.
Senator Aliyu Wadada currently represents Nasarawa West in the 10th Senate. He recently defected from the Social Democratic Party, SDP, to the APC in preparation for the governorship race.
The governor’s declaration is expected to significantly influence internal party dynamics as the APC begins early positioning for the 2027 elections.
Wadada’s entry into the APC governorship contest adds momentum to what is expected to be a competitive party primary in Nasarawa State.
Political observers say the endorsement signals a strategic consolidation within the ruling party as stakeholders align behind key aspirants.
