Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan is a Nigerian politician and legal professional, currently serving as a Senator representing Kogi Central Senatorial District in the 10th National Assembly since November 2023.
She made history as the first elected female senator from Kogi State. Born in 1979, Akpoti-Uduaghan is a Barrister with an LLB from the University of Abuja and a Master of Laws (LLM) and MBA in Oil and Gas Management from the University of Dundee.
She gained significant public attention for her fierce advocacy for the revival of the Ajaokuta Steel Mill, which earned her a presidential award from the Nigerian Society of Engineers.
Her political journey has been marked by resilience, contesting for both senatorial and gubernatorial seats before her eventual triumph in the Senate through a rigorous legal process.
