The meeting, held at the Government House Banquet Hall, brought together aspirants and party stakeholders as preparations intensify for the APC primaries already scheduled to commence.

Governor Uzodinma urged the aspirants to embrace loyalty, discipline and sacrifice, stressing that politics should be approached with caution, realism and party unity.

He described politics as “not a lottery but a game of courage”, noting that while some participants will succeed, others will inevitably lose in the contest.

The governor warned against desperation among aspirants, advising them to remain committed to the party before, during and after the primaries regardless of outcomes.

He cautioned aspirants to carefully evaluate their decisions before entering the race, noting that political ambition should not lead to reckless financial decisions or unnecessary pressure.

Uzodinma also confirmed that the party would adopt the Option A4 voting system where necessary to ensure transparency and reduce allegations of bias in the selection process.

He further advised aspirants to respect equity and existing rotation arrangements in their respective communities, where applicable, in order to promote fairness and reduce internal conflict.

The governor explained that an APC Primary Election Committee and Appeal Committee had been constituted to address grievances and ensure smooth handling of disputes arising from the process.
