During the flag-off of Lot 2 of the Water Supply Project in Karu, FCT Minister Nyesom Wike made it clear that alignment with the Tinubu-led Federal Government would bring dividends of democracy to the grassroots.

Speaking alongside former Senator Philip Aduda and Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) Chairman Christopher Maikalangu, Wike praised their contributions to local development and pledged more federal support in return.

“Anybody who supports Tinubu, I will support him,” Wike declared to loud cheers from the crowd.

He also promised to construct a two-kilometre road in Karu, responding directly to Aduda’s request, showcasing a government that listens to loyalists.

Wike described Maikalangu as “very good and hardworking,” noting that his influence had brought several key road projects—Saburi, Kabusa-Takushere, Deidei, and others—to completion in the area.

The minister stressed that past governments had failed the people, particularly in providing clean water. He highlighted that under Tinubu’s leadership, these longstanding issues are now being addressed.

“Support those the government will listen to,” Wike urged FCT residents, underlining his results-first approach over party loyalty.
