Deputy Governor and APC leader in the district, Sam Ode, led the ceremony, describing the initiative as a historic milestone in Nigeria’s political party registration process.
Ode explained that the e-registration is an innovative approach to ensure accurate and reliable party data through digitised membership records.
He urged residents to participate in the exercise, stressing that a strong membership base would translate into electoral victories for the party in the 2027 general elections.
“The more members we have, the higher the votes we accumulate in the zone to win the forthcoming elections at all levels,” Ode said.
“I encourage my people to key into the exercise so that our great party will be victorious, enabling you to continue enjoying the dividends of democracy from both federal and state governments.”
Governor Hyacinth Alia and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s achievements were highlighted as examples of the APC’s commitment to fulfilling electoral promises at the national and state levels.
APC State Chairman, Benjamin Omale, said the e-registration would strengthen the party and secure victories in upcoming elections.
He commended President Tinubu for funding the initiative and praised Governor Alia for supporting the exercise.
Omale further urged local government and ward chairmen, along with party stakeholders, to mobilise members to ensure robust participation.
