In a statement signed by National Coordinator Hon. Babajide Oyewole and Secretary Chief Rowland Okonkwo, the group called the reshuffle “long overdue,” emphasizing that some ministers should be retained while others removed for inefficiency.
The group recommended keeping ministers such as FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, Interior Minister Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, and Works Minister Dave Umahi.
The group criticized finance ministers for allegedly defying presidential directives regarding a N4 trillion payment impasse with indigenous contractors.
They cited ongoing protests by contractors, civil society organizations, and lawyers at the Finance Ministry as evidence of the urgency for cabinet changes.

“The President must act urgently to protect the government’s image, ensure efficiency, and safeguard APC’s chances in the 2027 elections,” the statement said.
