In a statement issued on Thursday in Abuja by its National Publicity Secretary, Muhammed Ishaq, the party said the arrival of Hakeem Baba-Ahmed represents a “new dawn” for the organisation and reinforces its commitment to national renewal.
The party said his decision to join, alongside his supporters across the country, would strengthen its focus on governance reforms, improved security, and economic transformation.
According to the PRP, its platform remains open to all Nigerians committed to building a more just and united country, stressing that inclusivity is central to its political philosophy.
The party also reiterated its five-point agenda, which includes restoring integrity in leadership, addressing insecurity through institutional reforms, revitalising the economy, and restructuring governance systems for greater efficiency.
It added that these priorities are designed to translate political promises into measurable progress across key sectors such as education, healthcare, and rural development.
Hakeem Baba-Ahmed’s entry into the party is being viewed within PRP circles as a strategic addition ahead of future political engagements, as the party seeks to reposition itself on the national stage.
