Akinola alleged that Adeleke spent more than 180 days outside Osun in 2025, largely on personal trips to the United States and the Caribbean.
He described these travels as “junketing” rather than activities that advance the state’s development, asserting that they disrupted policy implementation and coordination of government affairs.
The aide also raised concerns about gaps in public services, pointing out that despite increased federal allocations, many public schools lack teachers, and healthcare services have collapsed in several communities, leaving vulnerable residents underserved.

He urged citizens to stay vigilant and demand accountability from their leaders, particularly with the upcoming governorship election in August 2026, in which Adeleke is seeking re-election.
