TSG Abba Yusuf 2027 Support as Tinubu Support Groups in Kano back Governor Abba Yusuf ahead of 2027 elections
The North-West Coordinator of the Tinubu Support Groups (TSGs), Dr. Baffa Babba Dan’agundi, has declared full political alignment with Kano State Governor, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Dr. Dan’agundi, who also serves as Director General of the National Productivity Centre (NPC), made the declaration in Kano, stating that TSG structures in the state operate in close alignment with Governor Yusuf’s leadership.
He further insisted that the group’s political direction in Kano is firmly tied to the governor’s influence, saying the organisation recognises his leadership as central to its activities.
The TSG Abba Yusuf 2027 Support position was made more explicit during the inauguration of TSG leadership across 15 local government areas in the Kano Central Senatorial District.
According to Dr. Dan’agundi, mobilisation efforts have already begun at the grassroots level across the state as preparations intensify ahead of the 2027 elections.
He stated that the group is working to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, and all candidates under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), while stressing coordinated political engagement across all levels.
Dr. Dan’agundi added that directives within the group would be cascaded down to ward and polling unit structures to ensure effective coordination and mobilisation.

He also described the Tinubu Support Groups in Kano as a broad coalition comprising politicians, academics, retired civil servants, students, women, youths and other stakeholders working towards electoral success in the forthcoming elections.
